Long Island City is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Long Island City follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I knew this street usually gets lined with all kinds of food trucks in the evening, but today was my first time running into this particular one. When I saw "Bangkok Grillin," I was so excited, thinking, "Yes! Definitely getting Thai food!" They only have two main menu items, so I went for the rice bowl option. And oh my gosh... the chicken was SO, so tender! The papaya salad was super refreshing and paired perfectly with the grilled chicken. The mashed potatoes were a totally new and unique flavor profile for me (in a really good way!). Plus, the price is super reasonable for this location. Overall, I absolutely loved it. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly too. I'm definitely coming back, and I can't wait to see what else they bring to the menu!

I was on my way home today when I spotted this place and decided to try it out. I ordered Bangkok Bowl and while I was waiting, I was chatting with the guy inside the truck (Ang? Or Eng? I don't know how to spell his name). I learned it was a new spot and they just opened about 3 weeks ago (here Sun-Thurs). He was super friendly and even offered me a thai tea on the house! I had a long day at work so the extra hospitality was a treat. The thai tea was the most delicious thai tea ever! I learned it was in-house made everyday and specifically made with less sugar in mind. Their decision to use less sugar definitely was the move because the aroma and flavors come through so strongly. I got my bowl after about 4 minutes, thanked the staff and headed home. And it was the best thai grilled chicken bowl I've ever had. The chicken was not dry and cooked really well. The jasmine rice was super fluffy, and the mix of papaya salad, mashed potato, and cabbage was delightful. The bowl was neatly organized and as far as bowls go, everything was packed with intention. None of the ingredients were overcrowding each other, and it was really filling. This was a home-cooked meal, and their love for

Delicious, fresh and nutritious food options accompanied by excellent customer service! Definitely recommend their delicious house-brewed and very refreshing blue bloom drink.

I’ve been to Bangkok Grillin’ twice since it opened and I absolutely LOVE it. My order has been the Bangkok bowl but I swap out the tamarind sauce for the Massaman… it’s to die for! Everything is super fresh. The papaya salad and veggies are great, the mashed potatoes are phenomenal and the chicken is always perfectly cooked. On top of the food, the service is stellar! The owners are so nice and are helpful for choosing— definitely a business worth supporting. Will be back again!

My new fav lunch spot! As someone who's lived in this area for 4y, the lunch scene has been stale and repetitive. Bangkok grillin' offers a refreshing change with their juicy chicken and delicious veggies bowls. As for the drinks, I love the Thai tea and how it's less sugar. I usually add water / milk when I order Thai teas from elsewhere. Had no need to do it with theirs. I'm also a fan of the blue bloom but because I like herbal drinks. My bf wasn't. It has a STRONG yet refreshing lemongrass, herbal taste. Don't order it if you dislike herbal drinks!!! Def not for everyone
